DIY Challenge: Coffee Filter Petals - Day 7
Well, one week and a few coffee filters later, my chandelier is finally finished! Here are the supplies that I used for the construction:

Early progress…
- Clear beading thread and needle (Any twine or thread will do, just make sure that it’s sturdy enough to support the coffee filter petals)
- Embroidery hoop
- Ribbon
- “S” hook
- Scissors
- Fresh cut coffee filter petals (I really liked mixing up the shapes that I cut to give it some whimsy)
The tedious part was most definitely stringing up the petals. I threaded them onto the strands individually, double knotting before each petal was strung. After that, it was pretty easy! I tied strands on to the embroidery hoop as I worked along, used some ribbon to hang the hoop up with an “S” hook, and voila!

The finished product.

Ooo! Petal-ey!

Close up…
Even though it took me a while, it was really nice sitting down every night and working a little on this! Craft on, my lovelies. Craft on!
